ABOUT US
Welcome to High Altitude Esthetics + Wellness! I’m Rachell- the studio owner + your esthetician! The studio is located in the Historic District of Breckenridge, in The Exchange 1880 building on the corner of Ridge + Lincoln. Up the stairs of the beautiful courtyard and to the left, you will find me tucked away in my happy place. Here, the outside world is completely shut out- my little oasis. My pink door will let you know you have arrived! I specialize in the care and treatment of high altitude skin and the unique challenges we face living and playing at altitude. I am a Face Reality Certified Acne Expert and treat all skin types and conditions from inflamed acne to the correction of sun damaged and prematurely aging skin. I offer custom + holistic facial experiences only. You will NEVER find a cookie cutter facial here. Each facial is tailor made for you and your skin at that very moment in time- regardless of if you are a first time or long time client. For that reason my facials are typically longer appointments. This is not a place to come if you are in a rush or if you don’t feel that you could spend 90+ mins on a table relaxing and recharging. The entire space is set up for relaxation from beginning to end- including my slow and intentional pace! I work mainly with my hands. Though I do offer a few treatments such as red light therapy and oxygen infusion therapy- I genuinely believe as estheticians our hands and our brains are the most effective tools available to us. Not everything has to be the newest and hottest to get the results- trust me!! Lastly, I just want to say that your skin is beautiful. No matter where you are in your journey, your skin is beautiful. Although real and lasting changes in the skin take place over time, understanding, and commitment- starting by being more intentional about how you treat it (and yourself) is always the first step. If you are happy and healthy, chances are your skin will be too!
